Gerec ve yontem: Cocuk hastaliklari poliklinigine ates, bogaz agrisi ve yutma guclugu ile basvuran 5-15 yas arasi cocuklarin bogaz suruntu orneklerinden izole edilen AGBHS suslarinin antibiyotiklere duyarliliklari CLSI kriterline uygun olarak saptandi. Izolatlarin penisilin, amoksisilin-klavulanat, amoksisilin ve azitromisin duyarliliklari disk difuzyon yontemiyle belirlendi. Bulgular: Toplam olarak 821 hastanin bogaz kulturu orneklerinin 216 ‘sinda (%26,3) AGBHS izole edildi. En duyarli oldugu antibiyotigin amoksisilin-klavulanat (%99,5) oldugu, daha sonra amoksisiline (%95,8), penisiline (%95,3) ve azitromisine (%78,7) hassas oldugu bulundu (P < 0.05). Ancak bakterinin %21,3 oraninda azitromisine direncli oldugu belirlendi. Sonuc: AGBHS izolatlarinin en duyarli oldugu antibiyotigin amoksisilin-klavulanat oldugu ve azitromisine karsi direnc oraninin yuksek oldugu saptandi. Tonsillofarenjitli cocuklarda azitromisinin gereksiz kullaniminin onlenmesi ile bu antibiyotige karsi direnc azaltilabilir." @default.
