- W1760753823 abstract "The electronic energy band structure for Sr 3 Ru 2 O 7 , which is related to the superconducting Sr 2 RuO 4 and whose structure is called double-layered structure, has been calculated by using the scalar-relativistic full-potential linearized augmented plane wave (FLAPW) method within the local-density approximation in the paramagnetic case. The result of the calculation suggests that this compound is a metal and its electronic structure looks like that of Sr 2 RuO 4 . However, we found one of the Fermi surfaces has a large dispersion along k z axis. The calculated large density of states at the Fermi energy indicates that Sr 3 Ru 2 O 7 may have a ferromagnetic ground state." @default.
