This dissemination of information is the bane of many a medical reference source, and it underscores the difficulty of caring for a critically ill patient whose management rarely fits neatly into one chapter of any book.That being said, this book also offers practical information on a variety of common problems seen in the ICU and focuses on the fundamentals of managing a critically ill patient.
