Likewise women not realize that the various uncomfortable symptoms which experienced is as the early symptoms of menopause or the end of menstruations. This study aims to know the effect of the health education concerning the menopause against the level  of knowledge of mother in age between 45-55 years old at Working Area of The Public Health Centre of Tonsealama Sub-district of North Tondano.Design study is using the pre-test, post-test design method where the knowledge of the respondent is measured before and after the health education concerning menopause. The determination of the sample is taken using the purposive   sampling technique,sample is mother in age between 45 -55 years old who consists of 71 respondents. The data analysis which done is by using Wilcoxon test with confidence interval 95% dan α= 0,05. T he result of the Wilcoxon test obtained that p = 0,000 which means the value of p < 0,05 thus can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the education concerning menopause against the knowledge enhancement of the mothers in age between 45-55 years old in The Public Health Centre of Tonsealama. Abstrak : Menopause sering menjadi penderitaan  dan konsekuensi kesehatan fisik dan mental yang kadang parah atau perlu ditangani dengan serius. Namun anehnya sekarang ini masalah menopause jarang dibicarakan bahkan dikalangan  dokter karena dianggap wajar saja bagi wanita yang sudah  berumur. Demikian juga wanita tidak menyadari bahwa berbagai gejala tidak nyaman yang dialaminya merupakan gejala awal dari menopause atau mati haid.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan kesehatan mengenai  menopause terhadap tingkat  pengetahuan  ibu usia 45-55 tahun di wilayah kerja Puskesmas  Tonsealama Kecamatan Tondano Utara . Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre test post design dimana pengetahuan responden diukur sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan kesehatan mengenai menopause . Penentuan sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sampel yaitu ibu usia 45 -55 tahun yang terdiri dari 71 responden. Analisis data yang dilakukan ialah dengan menggunakan uji wilcoxon dengan confidence interval 95% dan α= 0,05. Hasil uji wilcoxon didapatkan bahwa p=0,000 yang artinya nilaip< 0,05 dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang bermakna dari penyuluhan mengenai menopause terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu usia 45 – 55 tahun di Puskesmas Tonsealama.
