- W183532057 abstract "Ultimately, all aspects of contemporary society, its politics, its economy, its culture and its social relationships, occur on the land. The notions of right speech, right action and right livelihood may offer an illuminating approach to addressing the appropriate property involvements. Right speech, right action and right livelihood provide the means by which ethical factors can be incorporated into property involvements and real estate decision-making, which can integrate dynamism with responsiveness to changing conditions and simultaneously reflect the continuity as well as permanence. Relationships to the land follow from one’s world view and paradigms and are implemented by speech and action in the context of one’s livelihood. The implementation of right speech, right action and right livelihood in property involvements follows from one’s world view, for that world view is the foundational thinking from which the paradigms, institutions, strategies, decision models, and decision criteria follow. These collectively give shape to individuals ; organizations’, and societies’ relationship to the land, other sentient beings, environments in many forms, different cultures and times." @default.
