This problem is approached through the technique of statistical quality control. An example is presented in which control charts were employed to determine that product variation was above that reasonably expected due to the natural variation in the process. Remedial action in the form of employee training was taken. Further analysis using control charts indicated that the training did result in process improvement." @default.
