Seguindo as referencias bibliograficas, diferentes condicoes de ensaio foram estabelecidas para os ensaios de desgaste micro-abrasivo por esfera rotativa, incluindo: forca normal (N), tempo de ensaio (ou, distância de deslizamento – S) e concentracao de lama abrasiva. Apos analises, os resultados mostraram que o tempo de ensaio e a concentracao da lama abrasiva influenciaram os valores do volume de desgaste (V) e do coeficiente de atrito (μ). ABSTRACT The purpose of this work is to research the influence of the test time (t) and abrasive slurry concentration (C) on the micro-abrasive wear behaviour of an iron aluminide alloy. Ball-cratering wear tests were conducted with an Fe-30Al-6Cr (at.%) alloy, AISI 52100 bearing steel sphere and abrasive slurries prepared with silicon carbide (SiC) + water. Following the references, different test conditions were stablished for the micro-abrasive wear tests by rotative ball, including: normal force (N), test time (or sliding distance – S) and abrasive slurry concentration. After analysis, the results showed that the test time and abrasive slurry concentration presented influence on wear volume (V) and coefficient of friction (μ)." @default.
