- W1898498429 abstract "Correa,B. O., A. B. Moura, C. B. Gomes, L. Somavilla, D. J. A. Rocha e I.F. Antunes. 2012. Nematropica 42:343-350. Correa, B. O., A. B. Moura, C. B. Gomes, L. Somavilla, D. J. A. Rocha, and I. F. Antunes. 2012. Potential of seed microbiolization with rhizobacteria to control of root-knot nematode in common bean. Nematropica 42:343-350. Rhizobacteria individually (DFs093, DFs513, DFs769, DFs831, DFs842, DFs843 and DFs912) and in combination (C01=DFs093/DFs769/DFs831, C02=DFs093/DFs769/DFs842 e C03=DFs348/DFs769/DFs831) were evaluated in vitro to study the effects on hatching and motility of Meloidogyne incognita second stage juveniles (J2). Concurrently, the susceptibility reaction of common bean cultivars to M. incognita was determined in greenhouse assay. Subsequently, the potential of seed microbiolization for root-knot nematode biocontrol using same bacterial treatments and a moderately susceptible cultivar (BRS Valente) was evaluated. Measurements included the effect on hatching and motility of J2 using root exudates extracted from plants whose seed were microbiolizated. Common bean plants raised form seed treated with those rhizobacteria, growing in autoclaved soil, were inoculated with 5.000 eggs + J2 of M. incognita/plant under greenhouse conditions. After 55 days, the roots were evaluated for number of galls and pods, nematode reproduction factor (RF), shoot, pod and root fresh weight. In vitro assays show that C03 combination resulted in the greatest reduction of hatching and motility of M. incognita J2. It was observed in vivo that the rhizobacteria DFs513, DFs769 and DFs831 as well as all the combinations resulted in the lower RF; however, the C01 combination resulted in the greatest plant growth promotion." @default.
