- W1901752010 abstract "Using a sample of 269 front-line hotel employees, we examined the mediating role of trust in organization (TIO) on the relationship between (1) leader-member exchange (LMX) and affective organizational commitment (AC) and (2) perceived organizational support (POS) and AC. The results from path analysis support our separate research model that employees who have higher levels of LMX and POS were more likely to show higher levels of TIO. Ultimately, higher levelsof TIO increased employees’ affective organizational commitment (i.e., AC). This finding suggests that employees perceiving working relationship with their supervisor (i.e., LMX) and higher quality of organizational support (i.e., POS) felt more affective attachment to their organization than their counterparts. Implications for managers and suggestions for future research are discussed." @default.
