Birinci ay sonunda asilamanin o'nemli olmamakla beraber negatif yOnde bulunan tesiri bakterinin spor devresinden cikarken elverisli fosforu kullanmasina at/edilmistir. Ikinci ve ucuncu ay sonunda yapilan varyans analizlerinde asilamanin onemsiz bulunusu interaksiyonun buyuk cikmasi ie ilgili gorulmustur. Ancak ikinci ve ucuncu ay sonunda ortalamalarm asgari farka gore degerlendirilmesi fosfobakterin tesirinin genellikle muspet oldugunu ortaya koymaktadir. Ikinci ay sonunda yapilan fosfobakterin sayiminda asilamanin basarili oldugu varyans analizi ile tesbit edilmistir. Asilama sonunda organik fosfonin genellikle azaldigi gorulmus ise de fark onemli bulunmamistir. EVALUATlON OF PHOSPHOBACTERIN AS A SOIL INOCULANT ON SOME OF THE ANATOLIAN SOILS The mam purpose of this study was to evaIuate the effect of the phosphobacterin as a soil inoculant on the solubIe P content of nine soil samples col1ected from the eastem anataiia. Bacillus megather!um var. phosphaticum was isolated from alocal soiI by using Menkina i and II media. The growth obtained from Menkina il medla, was then mixed with tbe approriate amount of solid carrier,and dried. The bacterial preparatian was found to be a nearly pure culture of Bacillw megatheriwn var. phosphatieum with approximately seven billian organisms in the spor form per gm of solid carrier. The solid carrier consisted of about 88 % kaolin. The petri dishes, each containing 50 gm of tbe soil samples, were inoculated with i: i gm of solid carrier. The dishes were kept in about field moisture capaticy at 17 :r= 3 Co for the first month and then at 35:r= 5Co for the rest of the experiment. The study Iasted for three months and at the enol of the each month detarminations of morganic P were made colorimetrieal1y by the Bray i method. A factorial experiment was set up, by using inoculation and soil factors, with two replicatoins. At the end of the 30 days of incubation, a decrease, altough statisticaUy nonsignificant was absorved, in the soluble P content of the inoculated soils. And it was thOiight to be connected to the synthesis of the immedIately available P by the spores of the phosphobacteirn for the formatian of the bacterial form. in the analysis of variance, calculated on the basis of 60 days of incubation, only mean squares of the soil and soiI x Inoculation interaction were significant (at i % leveI), because soluble P content of the same soils were increased slightly by the bacterial inoculant, whereas same soils did not positively respond to the treatment. However L.S.D. test indicated a significiant (at 5 % level) increase in soIuble P contents for the general means of the nine inocuIated soils. The mean squares of the soil and soilxinoculation interaction were found to be significant at 1 % level, in the statistical data obtained after 90 days of incubation period. And this was again attributed to the different responses of the soils against the Inoculant, A general soluble P increase for the inoculated treatment mean was indicated as significant at i % Ievel by L.SD. test. The phosphobacterin count was made by using the dilution method at the end of the 60 days of incubation to check, wbether, the isolation and inoculation procedures were succesfuII. The analysis of variance gave a sIgnificant (at 5 %leveI) mean square value for the treatment." @default.
