- W1925116056 abstract "Many religious feasts that are being celebrated in Europe have nowadays become a part of our life via different means of communication. Many feasts that are being celebrated by Christians have a religious background according to the Christian Belief. However our own community directly takes the traditional celebrations into our own culture that it sees whether from the press or from the visual means of publication just as they are celebrated in Europe. The Christmas, the Carnaval and the Easter Feasts are only a few of the examples that can be given. The chocolate covered egg that we buy for our children and that is known as aAqKinder Surprisea in fact has its roots in the Easter egg. Our intention is not to criticize the due application but to give information about the source of the mentioned celebrations that have become a part of our culture in this or that way and show the reasons of why they are celebrated actually. In fact the source of many of the due celebrations and the reasons of why they are celebrated arenaâ¢t even known by the related church community itself. In this paper of ours there is some information about the roots of the feasts of which the celebration reasons have even been forgotten by the Christians themselves. There is also some information about the place of the due feasts in history and the way they are celebrated today. When the origins are investigated it will be better understood why the due feasts are celebrated by Christians." @default.
