Oestudo sugere um modelo explicativo de como a empresa influenciaa organizacao de uma equipe de trabalho efetiva, analisandouma sequencia de explanacoes, intervencoes e manipulacoes dogestor (como representante da empresa) ao longo do processo. The central argumentdefended by the researchers is that effective work teams organizethemselves around goals, roles, rules and procedures that areexternally established by the organization. The group selforganization is limited by these out side factors, making all theaspects related to the work task more important than those relatedto human and relationship aspects in the organization of thisteams. To accomplish this investigation there were used theprinciples of topological psychology and group dynamics proposedby Kurt Lewin. The research method chosen is based on a qualitative paradigm. The research design that was adopted wasthe case study of a twenty one employees group from theadministrative and financial sector of a large company in the metal-mechanic sector in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. As the mainresult, the study suggests an explanatory model that shows howthe company influences the organization of an effective work team,analyzing a sequence of explanations, interventions e managementmanipulations (as the company representative) along the process.
