- W1956574312 abstract "Modern medicine is difficult to imagine without the high-tech equipment. It makes a quick and accurate diagnosis, not only the majority of diseases, but also provides a safe and low impact performance of manymanipulations. The downside is the loss of some doctors skills, but the benefits from the development of technology disproportionately. This article examines the role of diagnostic equipment (ultrasound, CT) in the crucial area — venous access necessary for the treatment of cancer in children. Benefits of catheterization of peripheral and central veins using modern equipment show our results. Subclavian catheterizations without using of ultrasound and X-ray equipment the incidence of complications was more than 90%, and adjust them intraoperatively managed only 30%, whereas the implantation of venous port systems with the use of the equipment listed above, the figures were only 37 and 88%, respectively.
