- W1965443304 abstract "We report here the results of high pressure conductivity measurements on TlxV6S8 (x = 1, 0.15, 0.47, and 0.63) in pressure range from 0 - 2 GPa in the temperature range from 300 K to 300 mK to obtain insight in the competition between superconductivity and charge density waves as well as to establish the existence of a charge density wave in these materials. The experimental results are complemented by first principle electronic band structure calculations on InV6S8 in order to study the effect of pressure on the Fermi surface nesting which leads to the formation of the charge density wave instability." @default.
