Such a condition can prevail in quark star matter undergoing rapid compression. We derive the neutrino emissivity formula from the direct beta processes and calculate the neutrino emissivity numerically by considering the difference in the chemical potentials of u, d (s) quarks and e electron, (δμ=μ d ( s ) − μ u −μ e ) for the two- and three-flavor quark matter. We find that the emissivity increases (decreases) with increase in δμ (−δμ) which is quite different from that of the equilibrium (δμ=0) emissivity. Moreover, it has been observed that the exponent in the temperature and the baryon density of the emissivity is very sensitive to δμ." @default.
