- W1966211159 abstract "It has been possible to isolate and identify histologically the newly formed organic matrix of the incisor teeth of rats and rabbits. The amino acid compositions of both the entire decalcified matrix and the neutral-soluble proteins were found to be characterized by their high contents of proline, histidine, leucine and glutamic acid, similar to the proteins obtained from human, bovine and porcine enamel. The most significant differences noted were the relatively high content of alanine and the low content of methionine in the proteins obtained from rabbit enamel. @default.
