- W1966654986 abstract "To investigate the chloride evolution during the temperature programmed reduction from chlorinated precursors of supported rhodium catalysts, reduction conditions were studied by conductimetric titration of the gaseous hydrogen chloride evolved during temperature programmed heating in flowing hydrogen. Hydrogen-oxygen titration and specific rate as well as turnover frequency have shown that total reduction may occur at relatively low temperatures without total dechlorination. Strong interactions between support and metallic complex control the initial and final temperatures of reduction and dechlorination, but no effect of chloride or support was found in the hydrogenation of benzene. The method described for measuring chloride evolution is recommended for simultaneous temperature programmed reduction when hydrogen consumptions are measured." @default.
