- W1967185252 abstract "In this paper a general mathematical model for nonisothermal absorption with a second-order irreversible chemical reaction has been described. The analysis has been performed for a single gas bubble using the film heat and mass transfer theory. In the presented general approach, mass transfer resistances in both the gas and liquid phases, as well as the liquid volatility have been taken into account. Also, the heat transfer to the gas phase, as well as the temperature dependences of diffusivities, solubility coefficient, and chemical rate constant have been taken into consideration, while the temperature dependence of the physical properties such as density, heat capacity, and thermal conductivity has been neglected. The results of numerical simulations have been discussed and compared to the well-known predictions obtained for the isothermal absorption with a simultaneous chemical reaction." @default.
