- W1967372605 abstract "The X-ray diffraction patterns of an Fe16N2 film epitaxially grown on an In0.2Ga0.8As (001) substrate at 300 K were measured. Clear peaks were detected in several planes involving the a-axis of Fe16N2. The lattice constants of the a- and c-axes of the Fe16N2 film at 300 K were 5.723 Å and 6.277 Å, respectively. In addition, X-ray diffraction patterns were measured in the temperature range between 20 K and 300 K in order to evaluate the temperature dependence of a unit cell volume of Fe16N2. The lattice constants of the a-axes increased slightly with decreasing temperature while those of the c-axes decreased. The lattice constants of the a- and c-axes of the Fe16N2 film at 20 K were 5.730 Å and 6.261 Å, respectively. The unit cell volume of Fe16N2 is likely to be constant below 300 K that is around 205.6 Å3. The magnetic moment per Fe atom for Fe16N2,calculated from the unit cell volume and saturation magnetization was 3.23 μB at 300 K and 3.53 μB at 20 K." @default.
