- W1967874201 abstract "Recent investigations show that electroacupuncture seems to be more efficient than conventional acupuncture, particularly for addressing chronic respiratory diseases. This is the result of the additional vibrations induced by electromagnetic fields originating from the electric pulses used in the electroacupuncture process. In current research, this aspect has been examined by estimating the magnitude of the mechanical force exerted on the secondary and tertiary bronchi with alveoli. It has been shown that the system works as a vibrating cantilever attached to the spongy vibrating lungs. The oscillatory shaking mechanism clears the airways of the bronchi and keeps in motion the secreted fluid, which covers the epithelial cells and helps the cilia to vibrate with higher frequency. This allows the disposal of small particles and bacteria, which have been deposited in the airways of the secondary and the tertiary bronchi. These special aspects originating from electroacupuncture provide relief to patients who have respiratory abnormalities." @default.
