Der Proteinansatz anderer Gewebe blieb unverändert. Dabei war der SALB‐Effekt abhängig vom Proteingehalt in der Ration. Bei der Versorgung mit Rohprotein um 14% (H) über der Dänischen Standardversorgung (S) führte die Verabreichung von SALB zu einem höheren Proteinansatz im Muskel von 8 gegenüber 16% und zu einem höheren Muskelanteil von 2 gegenüber 7%. Bei dem Einsatz von Diät H und SALB war die Futterverwertung um 8% verbessert. Die Aminosäurenkonzentration im Muskel wurde in der Weise verändert, daß der Prolingehalt abfiel und der Glutamingehalt anstieg. Unabhängig von der Proteinkonzentration im Futter, führte SALB zu einer geringeren Fetteinlagerung von 11% im subkutanen Fettgewebe. Die parenterale Verabreichung von SALB verursachte eine signifikante Erhöhung der Gehalte an FFA, Laktat und Glucose im Plasma und erhöhte das Insulin:Glucagon‐Verhältnis bei niedrigeren Plasmaglucagongehalten. Dieser Effekt ist bei längerer Verabreichung nicht mehr so deutlich ausgeprägt. Aus den Untersuchungen geht hervor, daß zur Erreichung des vollen SALB‐Effektes auf den Proteinansatz im Muskel eine erhöhte Versorgung mit essentiellen Aminosäuren notwendig ist. Adaptation des Stoffwechsels hinsichtlich der Veränderungen im Fett und Proteinansatz, die durch einen längeren Einsatz von SALB verursacht werden, bleiben weiter ungeklärt." @default.
