In addition the conduction band structure has been probed by photoemission partial yield spectroscopy and by electron energy, loss spectroscopy. The experimental results are in reasonable agreement with theoretical predictions although calculated band widths are generally too narrow. A feature in the partial yield and electron loss spectra is tentatively interpreted in terms of surface states. La structure de la bande valence, et aussi la location des niveaux 3d du gallium, sont examinés pour des monocristaux du GaSe et du GaTe par la spectroscopie photoélectrique, en utilisant la radiation d'un synchrotron. En addition, la structure de la bande de conduction est sondée par la spectroscopie photoélectrique du rendement partiel, et par la spectroscopie de pertes d'énergie des électrons. Les résultats experimentaux sont d'accord avec les prédictions théoretiques, bien que les bandes calculées sont généralement trop étroites.
