Calculation results for Fe plasma are compared with several theoretical models. For strongly correlated liquid metals, the electrical resistivities appear to be closer to the experimental data than that in G. A. Rinker, Phys. Rev. A 37, 1284 (1988), since fully self-consistent potentials based upon solutions of the Dirac equation are used. The numerical results for Al plasma are largely consistent with the available experimental values [H. M. Milchberg et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 61, 2364 (1988)]. Additional calculations show that contributions from the electron-ion inelastic scattering are negligible.
