- W1972030607 abstract "Abstract A GLC method for the quantitative analysis of ascorbic acid in tissues is described. It measures only the reduced form of the compound and has a high degree of specificity. It has been found to be convenient and reliable and produces results comparable to those obtained by the dinitrophenylhydrazine method. Since the method requires little manipulation of samples and is reasonably sensitive it can be readily adapted for microanalysis. Studies of post mortem changes and the effects of different sampling techniques on ascorbic acid levels are also presented." @default.
