- W1972464952 abstract "We explore a mathematical nonlinear dynamics foundation of the transformation of neuro-cognitive behaviour and language under psychopharmaceutical action. We present experimental findings of cognitive changes under alteration of arousal, as manifested by EEG activity in macular attention or by linguistic changes with drug action ('pharmaco-linguistics'). We apply the statistical fluctuation-progression approach to neuro-cognitive activity, under relaxant vis-à-vis excitant drugs (ketamine versus glycolate). The model deduces an iso-activation point that illuminates neuro-cognitive and linguistic bipolarity (syntactic and semantic responses), and marks a phase transition between cognitive appositional and propositional modes, under an optimal stochastic fluctuation level. Using neuronal information processing approach, we probe a window to human evolution, drug-amplified cerebral lateralization and language, and evidence is presented to estimate the date of the past occurrence of the iso-activation point of language evolution across the past history. We map the cognitive bimodality transition via shifts in cross-hemispheric EEG and syntagmatic-paradigmatic activity neurolinguistically." @default.
