- W1978039701 abstract "Abstract A partial fusion reaction, 154 Sm ( 14 N , ( p, d, t )χ n ) 157–159 Er , is shown to be a viable alternative to heavier-ion complete fusion reactions for E γ − E γ correlation studies at very high spin. The valley observed in the present correlation plot, obtained with NaI detectors, indicates rotational band structure up to E γ ≈ 1.46 MeV and a corresponding estimated spin of I = 48. A numerical simulation of the experimental data to check the method shows the significance of this result." @default.
