- W1978283172 abstract "Two high-${mathit{T}}_{mathit{c}}$ superconducting polycrystalline materials with ${mathit{T}}_{mathit{c}}$ensuremath{simeq}108 and 74 K were used to study the temperature dependence of the electrical potential drops across ring samples with an outside diameter of 1.1 cm. Three diametrical pairs of leads were used to measure the longitudinal, ${mathit{V}}_{mathit{L}}$ (four-probe-like) and the transversal, ${mathit{V}}_{mathit{T}}$ (compensation-method-like) voltages of the samples. The temperature dependence of ${mathit{V}}_{mathit{T}}$ shows a knee structure (or a shallow minimum) in the vicinity of the fluctuation-corrected critical transition temperature ${mathit{T}}_{mathit{c}}^{0}$, which is estimated from the analysis of the Aslamosov-Larkin paraconductivity term. No shallow minima were detected in the case of ${mathit{V}}_{mathit{L}}$. Our method of finding the critical region involves no preliminary assumptions about the single- or multiple-layer character of the superconductivity in the materials studied." @default.
