The extent of heating is proportional to the electron flux (beam current) and for typical 100 kV operating conditions in the microscope is less than 8 K. Under extreme conditions (100 μA) temperature increases on the order of 15 K were observed. Das Ausmaß der Aufheizung ist proportional zum Elektronenfluß (Strahlstrom) und ist für typische Arbeitsbedingungen im Mikroskop von 100 kV kleiner als 8 K.
