- W1980691489 abstract "Summary: Resume: ZusammenfassungThe influence of several experimental parameters (time, concentration, pH, and temperature) on cellular absorption of cycloxydim was studied using suspension–cultured velvetleaf (Abutilon theophrasti Medic.) cells. Cycloxydim and its metabolites accumulated in cells to a concentration higher than that of the external medium. Metabolism was rapid with 88.6 % conversion to metabolites within 6 h. Cycloxydim absorption was linearly related to the external cycloxydim concentration, indicating that cycloxydim absorption across cell membranes occurs by passive diffusion. Absorption was strongly pH–dependent, with more intracellular cycloxydim plus metabolites accumulating at acidic extracellular pH, indicating an ion–trap mechanism of absorption. Cycloxydim absorption was significantly higher at 20°C compared with 4 and 12°C, but no difference existed between the last two temperatures. Studies of the influence of three adjuvants (Armoblen T/25, BanDrift, and ammonium sulfate) on cycloxydim absorption demonstrated that BanDrift at 0.01% (v/v) and ammonium sulfate at 1.0 and 10 mM increased cycloxydim absorption at all times. However, Armoblen T/25 at 0.002% (v/v) increased cycloxydim absorption at only a short incubation time (30 min).Absorption du cycloxydime par des cultures de cellules d'Abutilon theophrasti Medic.L'influence de plusieurs parametres experimentaux (temps, concentration, pH et temperature) sur l'absorption du cycloxydime par des suspensions cellulaires de jute de Chine (Abutilon theophrasti Medic.) a eteetudiee. Le cycloxydime et ses metabolites s'accumulaient dans les cellules a une concentration superieure a celle du milieu exterieur. La metabolisation etait rapide avec 88.6 % de conversion en metabolites en 6 h. L'absorption de cycloxydime etait lineaire en fonction de sa concentration externe, indiquant qu'il s'agit d'un phenomene passif. Elle etait fortement dependante du pH, les pH externes acides favorisant l'accumulation intracellulaire de cycloxydime et de ses metabolites, ce qui indique un mecanisme d'absorption a piegeage d'ions. L'absorption du cycloxydime etait significativement superieure a 20°C, comparea 4 et 12°C, mais aucune difference n'etait detectable entre les deux dernieres temperatures. L'adjuvant BanDrift 0–01 % (v/v) et le sulfate d'ammonium 1 et 10 mM augmentaient l'absorption du cycloxydime a tous les temps d'incubation.
