The testes of sensitized animals showed degeneration of germinal epithelium, necrosis and fibrosis of the connective tissue in interstitial tissues. Goat and rabbit antisera against goat-testes homogenates showed cross-reaction with extracts from a number of organs. One testes-specific antigen was observed. The goat seminal plasma had 5 antigenic components, three of which were common with those of seminal plasma from cow bull and buffalo bulls. Under in vitroconditions the goat and rabbit antisera against goat-testes homogenate spontaneously agglutinated and killed the spermatozoa from goat semen. It appears that the allo-immunization of goat bucks with goat-testes brings about sterility by aspermatogenesis as well as by immobilization and death of spermatozoa, if formed. Zusammenfassung Der Einfluß einer Alloimmunisierung von Ziegenböcken mit Ziegenhodenhomogenaten auf die Spermatogenese. Spermamotilität und die Bildung von kreuzreagierenden Antikörpern In Ziegenböcken wurde der Einfluß einer Alloimmunisierung mit Ziegenhodenhomogenaten auf die Spermatogenese, die histologischen Veränderungen und die Bildung von kreuzreagierenden Antikörpern studiert. Die Hoden sensibilisierter Tiere zeigten eine Degeneration des Keimepithels und eine Nekrose und Fibrose des Bindegewebes im Interstitium. Ziegen- und Kaninchen-Antiseren gegen Ziegenhodenhomogenate zeigten Kreuzreaktionen mit den Extrakten mehrerer Organe. Ein hodenspezifisches Antigen wurde beobachtet. Das Ziegensamenplasma hatte 5 antigene Komponenten, von denen 3 Gemeinsamkeiten mit Antigenen aus dem Seminalplasma von Rindern und Büffeln besaßen. In vitro agglutinierten und töteten die Ziegen- und Kaninchen-Antiseren gegen Ziegenhodenhomogenate spontan die Spermatozoen aus dem Ziegensamen. Die Alloimmunisierung von Ziegenböcken mit Ziegenhoden führt zu Sterilität mit fehlender Spermabildung oder — bei Fortdauer der Spermatogenese — zu Immobilisation und Abtötung der Spermatozoen. Résumé Influence d'une alloimmunisation de boucs avec des homogénats de testicules caprins sur la spermatogénèse, la mobilité des spermatozoïdes et la formation d'anticorps à réaction croisée Une étude de l'influence d'une alloimmunisation avec des homogénats de testicules caprins sur la spermatogenese, les modifications histologiques et la formation d'anticorps à réaction croisée a été faite chez des boucs. Les testicules des animaux ont montré une dégénérescence de l'épithélium germinal, une nécrose et une fibrose du tissu conjonctif de l'Interstitium. Des sérums anti-homogénats de testicule caprin de chèvres et de lapins présentèrent des réactions croisées avec les extraits de plusieurs organes. On a observé un antigène testiculaire spécifique. Le plasma du sperme de bouc possédait 5 composants antigéniques ayant 3 antigènes communs avec le plasma séminal de bovins et de buffles. Les sérums anti-homogénats testiculaires caprins de chèvres et de lapins agglutinèrent et tuèrent spontanément in vitro les spermatozoïdes de boucs. L'alloimmunisation de boucs avec des testicules caprins provoque une stérilité avec absence de formation de sperme ou une immobilisation et la mort des spermatozoïdes dans le cas d'une continuité de la spermatogénèse. Resumen El influjo de una aloinmunización de machos cabríos con homogenados de testículos cabrunos sobre la espermatogénesis, motilidad de los espermatozoides y la formación de anticuerpos de reacción cruzada Se estudió en machos cabríos el influjo de la aloinmunización con homogenados testiculares cabrunos sobre la espermatogénesis, las modificaciones histológicas y la formación de anticuerpos que reaccionaban en cruz. Los testículos de los animales sensibilizados mostraban una degeneración del epitelio germinal, necrosis y fibrosis del tejido conectivo en el intersticio. Antisueros de cabra y conejo frente a homogenados testiculares cabrunos mostraban reacciones cruzadas con los extractos de varios órganos. Se observó la existencia de un antígeno específico de testiculo. El plasma seminal cabrío tenía 5 componentes antígenos, 3 de los cuales presentaban comunidades con antígenos del plasma seminal de toros y búfalos. In vitro, los antisueros de machos cabríos y conejos frente a homogenados de testículos cabríos aglutinaban y mataban espontáneamente los espermatozoides del semen de bodes.
