- W1983187024 abstract "Electron diffraction examination of inhibitor films stripped off pure aluminium substrates after immersion in silicate—borate inhibitor solutions has shown that crystalline compounds are slowly formed with time. After two weeks immersion in the inhibitor solution two major crystalline constituents of the films were identified—Na2O . Al2O3 . SiO2 . H2O, and Al2O3 . SiO2, the former compound being the most prevalent. With further increase of immersion time the final film product was Al2O3 . SiO2 only. It is suggested that the intermediate Na2O . Al2O3 . SiO2 . H2O is formed by slow precipitation of crystalline nuclei which spread laterally and change to the less soluble Al2O3 . SiO2 with ageing. L'examen électromicroscopique de pellicules inhibitrices prélevées sur de l'aluminium pur après immersion dans des solutions inhibitrices silicate/borate a montré que des composés cristallins s'y forment lentement. Après deux semaines d'immersion on a pu identifier deux constituants cristallins principaux de la pellicule: Na2O.AC2O3.SiO2.H2O et Al2O3.SiO2, le premier étant prédominant. Aprés une immersion prolongée, le constituant est finalement Al2O3.SiO2. On suggère que Na2O.Al2O3. SiO2.H2O se forme transitoirement par lente précipitation de noyaux cristallins qui rayonnent et se transforment par vieillissement en Al2O3.SiO2 moins soluble. Elektronenbeugungsuntersuchungen der Filme, die sich von reinem Al nach dem Eintauchen in Lösungen mit Silicat—Borat-Inhibitoren abziehen lassen, zeigen, da sich in einem langsamen Vorgang kristalline Verbindungen bilden. Innerhalb 2 Wochen bildeten sich in den Lösungen Filme mit zwei hauptsächlichen kristallinen Phasen: viel Na2O.Al2O3.SiO2.H2O. und wenig Al2O3.SiO2. Nach längeren Eintauchzeiten enthielten die Filme ausschlielich Al2O3.SiO2. Es wird angenommen, da die intermediäre Bildung von Na2O.Al2O3.SiO2.H2O durch langsame Ausfällung von Kristallkeimen entsteht, die sich lateral ausbreiten und in die weniger lösliche Verbindung Al2O3.SiO2 übergehen." @default.
