=== Abstract One hundred and eight males (mean age: 21.98 ± 4.01 years) and 98 females (mean age: 22.12 ± 3.86 years) were asked to perform the straight leg raise (left and right legs), back-saver sit-and-reach (left and right legs), unilateral sit-and-reach (left and right legs), sit-and-reach, toe-touch, and V sit-and-reach tests in a randomized order. The lumbo-horizontal angle was measured when the participants reached maximal trunk flexion with knees extended. The ANOVA analysis showed significant differences for the lumbosacral angle among tests (p < 0.001). The concurrent validity of the lumbo-horizontal angle with regard to the straight leg raise was low to moderate for males (r = 0.44 – 0.58) and moderate for females (r = 0.56 – 0.70). In conclusion, administration procedures of sit-and-reach tests influence the lumbo-sacral angle in flexion. The sit-and-reach and toe-touch tests, and the unilateral sit-and-reach are the tests that reach the highest concurrent criterionrelated validity for males and females, respectively, for measuring hamstring muscle extensibility. Key words: straight leg raise, fitness testing, sit-and-reach, flexibility." @default.
