According to this model a reflected signal is formed under scattering of the electromagnetic wave on the anisotropic Langmuir turbulence generated by the electron flows which are responsible for the Ill-type splash. An efficiency of various scattering processes involving transverse and longitudinal waves (t + l→←t + l,t + i→←l + i,t + l→←t) at the different altitudes in the solar corona is examined. It is shown that an echo signal have observed properties. It is the large reflection cross-section and scattering anisotropy if it is scattered in the processes t + l→←t = l at altitudes with a local plasma frequency ωp≈ ν0ω0 / с, where ω0 is the radar signal frequency and ν0 is the typical plasma-wave phase velocity." @default.
