- W1989614001 abstract "The author presents a theoretical investigation proving that the use of polynomials for strip adjustment is the less favourable the higher the degree of the polynomials used. The best possible accuracy is achieved by a combination of mutually connected polynomials of third degree, a method identical with least squares strip adjustment. @default.
