Replacement of a cyclopentadienyl ligand and formation of CpYb(FcN)2 (9) is observed in the reaction of [Cp2YbCl]2 with two equivalents of Li(FcN). The reaction of Ce(acac)4 with 1 does not yield an organocerium(IV) complex of the formula (FcN)Ce(acac)3. The new lanthanide alkyls are characterized by their spectroscopic data (IR, 1H NMR, UV-VIS), magnetic moments and elemental analyses. Their high thermal stability can be explained by the chelating properties of the FcN ligand. [2-(Dimethylaminomethyl)ferrocenyl]lithium (1) (Li(FcN) reagiert mit wasserfreien Lanthanid-trichloriden LnCl3 (Ln = La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Yb) zu Komplexen des Typs (FcN)2LaCl (2), (FcN)3Ln·LiCl· THF (Ln = Ce (3), Pr (4), Nd (5)) und (FcN)3Yb (6). Umsetzungen von 1 mit Cp2LnCl(THF)(Ln = Sm, Er) liefern die Bis(cyclopentadienyl)-Derivative Cp2Sm(FcN)THF (7) und Cp2Er(FcN) (8). Abspaltung eines Cyclopentadienyl-Liganden und Bildung von CpYb(FcN)2 (9) wird bei der Reaktion von [Cp2YbCl]2 mit zwei :Aquivalenten Li(FcN) beobachtet. Aus Ce(acac)4 und 1 ist keine Organocer(IV)-Verbindung der Formel (FcN)Ce(acac)3 zugänglich. Die neuen Lanthanidalkyle werden. durch ihre spektroskopischen Daten (IR, 1HINMR, UV-VIS), magnetischen Momente und Elementaranalysen charakterisiert. Ihre hohe thermische Stabilität läßt sich auf die chelatisierenden Eigenschaften des FcN-Liganden zurückführen." @default.
