It was found that ${ensuremath{sigma}}_{c}$ decreases rapidly and smoothly (approximately as ${10}^{ensuremath{-}(nensuremath{-}3)}$), with increasing principal quantum number $n$ (for $n=3,4,5$) while the variation in ${ensuremath{sigma}}_{c}$ with angular momentum quantum number is not regular; ${ensuremath{sigma}}_{c}(3s)ensuremath{sim}{ensuremath{sigma}}_{c}(3p)$ but ${ensuremath{sigma}}_{c}(mathrm{nd})ensuremath{sim}10{ensuremath{sigma}}_{c}(mathrm{ns})$, in sharp contrast to the behavior of capture cross sections at high energies." @default.
