The improvement of these treatments requires the optimization of the lung deposition of inhaled particles; lung modeling plays an essential role in the understanding of the mechanisms of flow in the airways. Regulations must frame prescription of inhaled treatments to optimize its quality and, thus, the care for these chronic diseases.
