We have coupled this method with high-resolution photons from the Advanced Light Source to study angular distributions and decay rates of the Xe4{ital d}{sub 5/2}{r_arrow}6{ital p} resonant Auger lines. The angular distribution parameters {beta} of almost all possible final ionic 5{ital p}{sup 4}({sup 3}{ital P},{sup 1}{ital D},{sup 1}{ital S})6{ital p} states have been determined.
