The predictions from the RBEA model are compared with those of the previously developed analytical BEQ-RBEQ and DM models, and distorted wave calculations along with the available experimental data. The new model seems to agree well with the data up to Z = 92, and performs better than the RBEQ and DM models for Z ≥ 66. The point in favour of the RBEA model is that it offers a straightforward method of calculation of cross-sections without the requirement of any adjustment from one species to another." @default.
