With the effective radial distance of the electron in the target atom taken as Rmax, the radial distance of maximum electron density in the subshell concerned, these limits and the correction factor are applied in the Gryzinski (1965) model to the calculation of cross sections of single charge transfer for protons incident on H, N, O and the noble-gas atoms and He+ ions incident on N, O and the noble-gas atoms.
