- W2000147698 abstract "TheTechnique of the Neurologic Examination, a programmed text by William DeMyer from Indiana is excellent. Programmed texts often are thin in information and difficult to follow because of format. This volume does not suffer from these deficiencies. The information is detailed, pertinent, and excellently arranged. The format presents no difficulty to the student who is answering the questions. What is surprising is the incredibly complete, interesting, and worthwhile information it contains. The author is obviously an excellent clinician and teacher who has taught for many years. One can detect easily that De-Myer's book contains the distilled best of his teaching experience. He knows and senses all the usual obvious and subtle questions students ask in neurology. He knows as well the best way to answer them. Any medical student, medical or neurological resident, who honestly goes through this book will be greatly benefited. It is not only a fine" @default.
