Ozone reacts more rapidly with CF3CHCH2 than with larger members of the series; k(O3 + CF3CHCH2) = (3.5 ± 0.3) × 10−19 cm3 molecule−1 s−1 and k(O3 + CxF2x + 1CHCH2) = (2.0 ± 0.4) × 10−19 cm3 molecule−1 s−1 (x ≥ 2). The atmospheric lifetime of CxF2x + 1CHCH2 (x ≥ 2) is approximately 8 days with 90% of removal occurring via reaction with OH and 10% via reaction with O3." @default.
