These tumors vary in histologic appearance. Individual cases have been interpreted as representing focal nodular hyperplasia (2, 3) while others have been called liver cell adenomas (4). Support for the concept that these tumors may represent a neoplastic process is provided by recent reports (5, 6) that have identified five women with hepatocellular carcinomas and one with a hepatoblastoma (7) occurring in association...References1.
