Le stimulusétait un disque test de luminance et de diamétre réglables parmi des disques de fond placés au hasard. Il y a une interférence, sélective pour la taille et la luminance, des disques du fond sur la possibilitéde percevoir le test en vision excentrique. On peut décrire la taille de l'aire d'évidence par une sommation logique des influences séparées du diamétre et de la luminance, en contraste relatif avec les disques du fond. Es werden Untersuchungsergebnisseüber den Einfluss von Testobjekt-Hintergrundfaktoren auf die Grösse der sog. ȁSichtbarkeitsflächeȁ beschrieben, des retinalen Feldes, in dem das betreffende Objekt während einer kurzen Darbietung vor seinem Hintergrund entdeckt werden kann. Der Testreiz war eine Scheibe mit verstellbarer Leuchtdichte und verstellbarem Durchmesser inmitten von zufällig angeordneten Hintergrundscheiben. Es ergab sich eine grössen- und leuchtdichteselektive Beeinflussung der Wahrnehmbarkeit der Testscheiben bei exzentrischem Sehen durch die Hintergrundscheiben. Die Grösse der ȁSichtbarkeitsflächeȁ konnte durch eine logische Summation der separaten Einflüsse von Durchmesser und Leuchtdichtekontrast gegenüber den Hintergrundscheiben beschrieben werden." @default.
