A LC 50 of 14.9 ppm Dimilin 25 WP, equivalent to 3.7 ppm. AI (active ingredient Diflubenzuron) was determined. Some advantages of this new Apis ‐larvae‐test are discussed, and recommendations are made for a future use of the test as a routine method. Zusammenfassung Die Toxizität von Dimilin für Bienen‐Larven wurde getestet. Die Formulierung 25 WP (benetzbares Pulver mit 25% Wirkstoff Diflubenzuron) wurde in Wasser gelöst. Durch Zusatz von Geléeroyale‐Zucker‐Lösung wurden Testgemische mit 4,4 bis 17,9 ppm Dimilin‐Gehalt hergestellt. Hiervon wurden jeweils 10 μl individuell an Larven der Stadien L2, L3, und L4 auf Brutwaben in freifliegenden Bienenvölkern appliziert. In 37 Versuchs‐ und 35 Kontroll‐Serien wurde die Mortalität von je 50 Larven bis zum Verdeckeln der Brutzellen ermittelt. Die LC 50 für Dimilin 25 WP wurde mit 14,9 ppm bestimmt, was 3,7 ppm Reinsubstanz Diflubenzuron entspricht. Verschiedene Vorzüge des hier vorgestellten Apis ‐Larven‐Tests werden diskutiert. Für einen eventuellen künftigen Einsatz als Routine‐Test werden Empfehlungen ausgesprochen." @default.
