The delay increased the crude protein concentration and decreased the MAD fibre concentration of the second harvest. The total crude protein yield of both harvests increased with late interim harvesting. The first harvest plant calcium concentration increased and phosphorus concentration decreased with a delay in the interim harvest. It is concluded that, in the difficult growing conditions of the Sahelian zone of sub-Saharan Africa, delaying the interim harvest of Lablab purpureus until 50–70 days post-sowing will have beneficial effects on total dry matter and crude protein yields. Die Einflüsse der Zeit einer Zwischenernte auf den Ertrag und die Zusammensetzung von Lablab purpureus Lablab purpureus wurde in einem Feldexperiment in aufeinanderfolgenden Jahren angebaut, um die Einflüsse der Zeit einer Zwischenernte hinsichtlich des Ertrages und Ernährungswertes des geernteten Materials und den darauf folgenden Wiederaufwuchs, der für eine zweite und abschließende Ernte erzielt werden konnte, festzustellen. Verzögerung der ersten Ernte um 50–70 Tage nach der Ansaat erhöhte den Gesamttrockenmasseertrag (erste und zweite Ernte), wobei eine höhere erste Ernte und eine reduzierte zweite Ernte an Trockenmasse vorlag. Die Verzögerung reduzierte ferner die Rohproteinkonzentration der ersten Ernte und tendierte dazu, den modifizierten Säure-Detergenzfasergehalt (MAD) zu erhöhen. Die Verzögerung erhöhte die Rohproteinkonzentration und verringerte die MAD-Fasermenge der zweiten Ernte. Der Gesamtrohproteinertrag beider Ernten wurde mit einer späten Zwischenernte erhöht. Bei der ersten Ernte war die Kalzium-Konzentration erhöht, während eine Verzögerung der Zwischenernte zu einer Verringerung der Phosphorkonzentration führte. Es wird angenommen, dass unter schwierigen Wachstumsbedingungen der Sahelzone in der afrikanischen Sahara die Verzögerung der Zwischenernte von Lablab purpureus um 50–70 Tage nach der Aussaat günstige Auswirkungen auf die Gesamttrockenmasse und das Rohprotein haben dürfte." @default.
