Examined over time, photographs of the school's exterior document such phenomena as the Dutch elm scourge and the racial up heaval of the 1960s. The Cold War is an ideal topic for yearbook research?large enough to require use of a substantial number of yearbooks and absolutely central to its period. Keep in mind that the story to be written from the year books is not by any means the only history of the Cold War, but it is a history of the Cold War as many stu dents understood it and as adminis" @default.
