- W2000800009 abstract "The EM study of amorphous magnetic thin films of GdCoX (X = Au, Mo) as a function of temperature shows that Q, the ratio of perpendicular anisotropy Ku to the square of the magnetization Ms, is inversely proportional to temperature. Generally, for any film with a given Ku both in-plane and perpendicular domain structures are observed at RT and their proportional appearance is a direct measure of Q. Furthermore, their interaction at the proper Q value, coupled to externally applied bias and pulsed fields, leads to strip and bubble formation. Since Q can be increased inversely with temperature and Ku is a function of film deposition, a proper temperature can be found for varying film compositions at which bubble ormation will take place. Die Temperaturabhängigkeit der magnetischen Struktur amorpher dünner Schichten aus GdCoX (X = Au, Mo) wird mittels Elektronenmikroskopie untersucht. Q, das Verhältnis der senkrechten Anisotropie (Ku) zum Quadrat der Magnetisierung (Ms), verhält sich umgekehrt proportional zur Temperatur. Im allgemeinen geben alle Schichten bei einem gegebenen Ku bei Raumtemperatur Information über magnetische Komponenten, die sowohl parallel als auch senkrecht zur Filmebene liegen, und das relative Verhältnis der beiden Komponenten ist ein direktes optisches Maß für Q. Der Wechselwirkungseffekt der beiden Komponenten, wenn er mit Vormagnetisierung und Stoßfeldern gekoppelt wird, resultiert in der Bildung von Streifen- und Zylinderdomänen. Da sich Q umgekehrt proportional zur Temperatur verhält, und Ku von den Präparationsbedingungen abhängt, kann eine geeignete Temperatur für verschiedene Zusammensetzungen gefunden werden, bei der Zylinderdomänen gebildet werden." @default.
