Results revealed that after 7 days, the specimens soaked in SBF were covered with an amorphous calcium phosphate layer, while the specimens soaked in SBF plus glass-ceramic formed a crystalline apatite layer, suggesting thus, that the glass-ceramic provides silanol groups that accelerated the hydroxyapatite apatite precipitation on the anodic TiO2 layer." @default.
