This paper will discuss model studies aimed at better understanding some of the cure processes involved in the crosslinking of blocked isocyanate systems. Work done to take the learnings from these model studies and apply them to the development of fully formulated, low temperature curable powder coatings will also be discussed. By considering both the crosslinker and the nature of the polymeric resin it was possible to develop systems that cure at 129–140 °C and have excellent flow and levelling characteristics." @default.
